Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined and set aside.
Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and place about 1 tablespoon of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center.
Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water, fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle, and press firmly to seal. Ensure there are no air pockets.
Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully drop a few wontons into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
Remove the wontons from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Repeat the process with the remaining wontons.
Serve hot with ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
