Instructions
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Cook the chicken until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks, about 7-8 minutes.
Once the chicken is cooked through, reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Gradually sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until it melts and creates a creamy sauce.
Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for an additional 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
Meanwhile, lightly toast the hamburger buns on a skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.
Serve the chicken Alfredo mixture generously on the toasted buns and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
