Instructions
If using pizza dough, roll it out to a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. If using a tortilla, lay it flat on a clean surface.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface of the dough or tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
Layer the pepperoni slices over the cheese, and sprinkle the Italian seasoning on top for added flavor.
Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla or dough tightly into a log shape, ensuring everything stays inside.
Once rolled, cut the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels using a sharp knife.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they are spaced apart.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture lightly on top of each pinwheel for added flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the pinwheels are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
