Instructions
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Return the browned sausage to the skillet. Add the halved cherry tomatoes, BBQ sauce, paprika, dried oregano, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, letting the flavors meld and the sauce heat through.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing gently to coat the pasta with the sausage and BBQ sauce mixture. Heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
